THE FIELD ACADEMY

The Field Academy is for public high school students who are chronically absent and need to recover academic credit. We seek to connect, engage, empower, and educate young people by exploring our local and national community. We learn from what surrounds us and we believe that the world, and not a single building, is our school.

Field Academy runs unique programming to support students who are involved in the justice system, have been expelled, or currently identify as dropouts.

We are committed to rigorous academics, immersive interdisciplinary experiences, and the transformative power of exposure and connection to community. Everything we do is in connection to our partners. Our programming is designed as a bridge for a student to re-engage with school and receive a diploma, GED, or transition into the workforce.
